We won the 15th Mindanao Cup. Now we’re aiming to conquer the Nationals. Okay, not conquer. We couldn’t possibly. (Ah, but it’s like a glimmering gold star just out of reach but sooo… so near! Our fingertips tingle!)
The Ninoy Aquino Cup will be held in Tarlac, for five days beginning April 13. We’re so psyched. The Ateneo Debate Union, that is. We’re sure we’re competent enough, mattered enough, practiced enough (ok, well… I’m overexaggerating, heh). The point is we WANT to go and we believe we’re good enough to make a splash. We haven’t felt this good in AGES!
The only thing bugging us is… cold hard cash. Reg fee is 3,300 per person. Airfare is 5,000 per person. Plus other expenses like land transpo and stuff, we’re looking at a total cost of more or less FORTY THOUSAND PESOS!
How, how to come up with that?!
