Oh I did something fun today!
I was sitting at home, in front of my laptop, nuthin’ to do and nowhere to go… mind wandering… thinking how heavy I’m getting from all the ice cream and sleeping and more ice cream… generally being totally unproductive.
I aimlessly Google things that pop into mind, like say, a fitness ball! Ya I’d like one, for the longest time.
‘Coz those ab swing things, they’re no fun at all. Have you seen those ads where they show a mother carrying her child, watching TV and swinging on the ab swing thingy like it’s the easiest thing in the world? Well I tell you the whole thing’s a fraud!! It’s so not easy like advertised! It’s damn hard, especially on the abs. Ya I blew a whole month’s salary on that one a few years ago.
And those pulley things, ugh, they’re not good for my back at all! You know, where you put your feet on those placeholders and pull the stretchy thingy up to your waist and back and forth? No, I didn’t like it. It gave me back strain.
And then there’re those weights you strap onto your ankles and use them for leg lifts. Ya… that was a bust, too. It was fun at first, lifting your legs, watching your legs come up, then down, up, then down… But then it got boring. Who wants to spend 30 minutes lifting legs??? (Not that I would know of course, having never lasted that long.)
Aaaanyways. This time I’m pretty sure things are gonna be totally different. It’s a fitness ball! I’ve heard so much about it! You just lie on your back, do a bit of balancing, maybe you can even read a book while doing it, and you’ll get thin just reading and lying on your back! I saw it on TV, with those celebrities. Ya!
So I do a quick search on eBay and whaddyouknow, there’s one selling for only £0.99! I bid. Then I get outbid! Oh hayl no he didn’t!!!
After a short bidding war, I prevail with the bid £2.70! Plus £10 for shipping. Yay me!
Heehee… I foresee this as the start of a long and loving relationship with eBay…

(jumps up and down in excitement) I did too! I did too! Just got mine last Tuesday and I LOVE it! I can already see a difference (a tad more definition) and it really is a more intense sit up then tradition, on the floor sit ups, as you have to balance as well as do the sit up.
Try doing a push up on that thing, the ball resting on your shins. That’s a helluva workout also.
Enjoy!

Ball-like bulges on the head, Elliot? Surely you jest! However are they using their toys? Heheh.
Don’t worry I’m not that flexible.
