Hold on to your tv stands, girls, True Blood Season 2 premieres on June 14! It’s only a month away, and I am sooo excited!
Season Two of True Blood should be patterned off Book 2 of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. But creator Alan Ball has added in a few extra elements not found in the books (Vampire Jessica, more Tara, more Lafayette) so that should keep us longtime Sookie fans guessing on our tiptoes!
And of course, the masses are clamoring for more of Eric (count me in on that!) though he doesn’t appear that much in the Sookie novels until Book 3, so I’m hoping Season 2 will be a merging of Books 2 and 3. After all, we don’t know how long HBO will be airing True Blood for, so I’m all for getting Eric in there as soon as humanly (vampirishly?) possible!
