With every new day, with every new step, I draw closer to the wood. The woods is that place in the road that is shrouded in uncertainty (Or it could be used as kindling for that Amish fireplace). Where possibilities and pitfalls lurk in every hollow and behind every shrub. Right now I find myself once again standing at its borders. Daylight filters through the branches at the very edge of the woods. But further in is darkness. A pale, circle of light glows faintly at the end. A beacon that tells of warmth and comfort.
But right now, I must face these uncertainties. Someone once said, that to get to the end of it, one must go through it. So that’s exactly what I intend to do. Internship is done and over with. My MPH degree awaits. Will I succesfully go through these woods? There’s only one way to find out.
