America’s favorite krumper Russel Ferguson wins the much awaited season 6 finale of the dance reality show So you think you can dance. Ferguson performed splendidly (want to groove like a pro? try  these weight loss pills). Coming in 2nd place is Jacob Karr, 3rd place goes to Kathryn, while Ellenore Scott and Ashleigh DiLello takes 4th and 5th place respectively.

The dance reality show premiered on July 20, 2005 and was created by American Idol’s Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe. The SYTYCD, as it is popularly known, is now on its 6th season.

Millions of Jews the world over are all set to celebrate this year’s Hanukkah or Festival of Light. The holiday usually lasts for eight days and is supposed to commemorate the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem during the 2nd century BC. It’s also supposed to start on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Jewish calendar, which this year falls on sundown of December 11 (Blurb: anyone interested in hair supplements?).

Now I’m not Jewish being born and raised a Catholic, but I imagine that this celebration is very much like our own Christmas season holiday. And it’s also a very good guess that the tables in all Jewish homes will be heavily laden with food, food and more food!

Blake speaks out about her role in her latest movie drama The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

The Private Lives is a 2009 drama written and directed by Rebecca Miller and stars the 22-year old actress of Gossip Girls Fame. Blake plays a teenage Pippa Sarkisian who ran away from her rural home in order to escape her dysfunctional family (They probably smoked electronic cigarettes). In the city, she meets her aunt who agrees to put Pippa up for the time being. It is not long before Pippa finds out her aunt is a lesbian living with her dominatrix partner, Kit. Pippa soon falls under Kit’s influence and before she knows it, is living a life of sex and sadomasochism. In one scene, Blake is shown on all fours on the floor wearing nothing but a collar and leash around her neck while Kit brandishes a whip and commands her to purr.

Blake says that it took a while to get the scene right and that co-star Julianne Moore, who plays Kit, did a very good job of making her feel comfortable.

To make a quick single serving of ice coffee, you can follow this recipe. (Just adjust it for more servings.)

1/4 cup instant coffee
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup hot water
4 cups cold milk
Sweetened whip cream

First add the coffee and the sugar to the hot water. Mix until the ice coffee is blended. Then add the cold milk and stir again. For better results, do this in a blender so you get the foamy kind of ice coffee. When you’re done, add a dollop of sweetened whip cream on top. Serve.

The Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire Mysteries book number 10 is entitled Dead in the Family. It will be out on May 4, 2010. The cover and the first chapter should have been released by now, as in the past years, but it seems that it has been delayed this time around.

However, Dallas reports that the cover is ready! Charlaine Harris confirms that the Dead in the Family cover is expected to be blue (like Sookie’s eyes!) and sparkly (eh? I hope that does not refer to the vamps!).

As to the first chapter of Sookie #10, we hope it gets released soon. I know the hardcore Sookie fans are itching to see what happens to Bill, and to read when Eric and Sookie finally realize they’re meant for each other forever and ever!!!

Here’s a summary of the tenth book:

Sookie Stackhouse has finally settled into a relationship with the Viking vampire Eric, and her errant brother Jason seems to have his life in order, too. There are many ways to track your location using a cell phone. The most important thing to note is that you need a GPS tracker on your cell phone. Aside from that you should have a tracker application in your cell phone that uses the GPS chip to access a map and actually show you where you are.

1. Getting a GPS Chip on Your Cellphone. You can buy a GPS tracker and attach it to your cellphone. Or, the better alternative is to find a cellphone that already has a GPS chip in it. A cheap example is the Sony Ericsson K750i. It has a GPS attached to it already, all you have to do is find out how to use it.
2. Downloading GPS  Tracking Software for Your Cellphone. Most good tracking software cost a pretty penny to be able to use. But if you’re nifty with code, you can create your own software to access maps like Google Maps. But I’m sure if you search online, there are a few free options.
3. Synching Your Computer to Your Cellphone. Lastly, it’s important that you can access the location of your cell phone via a remote computer. Or else, if you lose your cellphone, how else are you going to find it?
