Mockingjay Cover
Mockingjay- the highly anticipated third installment of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games trilogy is finally done and will be hitting the shelves come August 24!
Needless to say, I’m more excited to grab a copy than a cat about to have bird for dinner. Okaaay, I just realized I made an inappropriate analogy there, but you get the drift. I’ve been waiting for this book since…black Friday? No, I’ve been waiting since before Thanksgiving…I think it was around September of last year!
I can hardly wait!
As it is, I’m so envious of those lucky bastards over at Scholastic who were able to get hold of an advanced copy for reviews. I wish they had a ripped-off copy that could be leaked ahead of the release date, sort of like those Oscar award copies of movies that get leaked into the internets.
For those of you who don’t know, the Hunger Games now has one of the largest fan bases- even larger than Twoilet! A movie is even reputably in the works, to be made by Lionsgate entertainment, your friendly-neighborhood goremaster. I really do hope the movie delivers.
