[Updated] English subs below! Yay!
Aiiiiiieeee! :) This latest episode (episode 10 of Sungkyunkwan Scandal) is one of the cutest ever, based on the spoilers I’ve read from those who watched it live. We’ll see Yoon Hee dressed like a gisaeng – and she is so very pretty! :) If I were Lee Sun Joon, I would fall head over heels in love with her!
Why is she dressed like a gisaeng? Well, because In Soo saw Lee Sun Joon entering the merchants’ banquet and heading towards the merchants’ storage, where they keep the stolen goods. (Lee Sun Joon is searching for the merchants’ journal, where they keep an accounting of what items were stolen and who stole them.) So In Soo asks his father to call the royal guards to catch the intruder, whom he knows very well is Sun Joon.
Yoon Hee and Jaeshin hear the royal guards talking about going to catch the intruder – so Jaeshin blocks the guards’ paths and pick a fight with them to buy time, while Yoon Hee hurries to the banquet. There, Yoon Hee can’t get past the guards since he’s not a merchant. Then, we see a group of gisaengs coming over. Next, we see Lee Sun Joon getting ready to fight against the royal guards that he thinks is coming to get him – when, instead of the royal guards, beautiful Yoon Hee comes in – and runs to hug him!!!
Hahaha! That’s just the intro, and we saw all this in episode 9. I am so excited to watch episode 10!
So, as usual, since episode 10 just aired, we don’t have the English subs yet, so here is the raw episode, and if it’s lagging because everyone’s trying to watch it, go directly to this site to view it. :)

Just an FYI… Viikii won’t link their videos for ep 10 and that is usually where everyone gets the English subs. They said they won’t link until KBS agrees to the licenses. :(

Yeah… I heard Viikii is having a meeting with KBS on Thursday, so hopefully if everything goes well, we’ll have our subs again by Monday. :)

I think you’re right Flisha. The videos are lagging so much that I was afraid they already pulled out the link or something… The Viikii logo just keeps turning round and round and round. Hope I get lucky before the weekend. (sigh)

Apparently, Viikii has taken off the links for Parts 1-3 of this episode, which is why we can’t watch it. :( I really hope the KBS and Viikii come to an agreement! :(

No wonder. I have been trying for the last couple of hours to access part 1-3. That was actually pretty quick of them this time around. I don’t understand why Viikii would pull part 1-3 off and not part 4-5. Part 1-3 was actually the good part of this episode, the part I really wanted to watch. =(

Hi Sky! Put the soft sub (file ending in .srt) in the same folder as the video (file ending in .avi) and they should have the same filename.
Example:
Sungkyungkwan Scandal E10.100928.HDTV.XViD-HANrel.avi
Sungkyungkwan Scandal E10.100928.HDTV.XViD-HANrel.srt
Now double click the .avi file and you will start to watch the video. Automatically, the subs will show in the video. :)

Put in one folder, and play the video. You will see the subs automatically. :)

Dear Fisha, appreciate a lot on your feedback but I think for security reasons (due to P to P), I think I will not download. I have just watched the chinese sub version (out of desperado!) and will wait for the English sub. I really want to thank you again for your fast response and assistance. I don’t want to be a bother, but all these subbinggroups always make it so difficult to get materials, but I shouldn’t complain, since they’re doing me a great favour, they are in some sense my gods xD
I seem to have a problem unpacking the rarfile for the softsubs you’ve linked. I download the file, but it gets unpacked as an empty folder. Is it something I’m missing here in how I’m supposed to do this? Has it happened to anyone else?

Hi Octopod, maybe try using WinRAR? That’s what I used to pack the subs. :) It should have about 8 .srt files.

Hi Junivel, it’s because of the licensing issues, there aren’t any videos with subtitles right now. So it’s better to download the raw videos and the soft subs. :)
