Joo Won admits himself as Ra Im’s Little Mermaid, but Ra Im still will not accept him, so he asks why. He knows she doesn’t love him, which is why he has to be Little Mermaid instead. She tells him that in the end, whether it’s she or he who’s the Little Mermaid, they both have to disappear from each others’ lives. He tells her he he has so much to lose if he chooses her. If he had nothing, how long could they stay together anyway? She says no woman would begin a relationship knowing there’s an end in sight. He counters, but not all couples end up in marriage.

He tells Ra Im he knows she likes him. She denies it. He pats her on the head, telling her, you lied. He has thought about it deeply, and wants the same consideration from her, to think seriously, and give him an answer.

Seul and Ra Im meet in a museum. Seul tells her she is going to marry Joo Won, because he has to marry someone rich, and if so, it might as well be Seul. Ra Im asks her if she likes Oska. She says yes, but that she can live with someone she doesn’t love. But she will do everything in her power to hurt Oska. She says the two of them have both chosen very difficult men.

Oska’s mom, Joo Won’s mom and Joo Won’s sister meet up for a meal. Joo Won’s mom tells about her difficulties with Joo Won. Oska’s mom tells her that a mother can’t come in between a man and his lover. But a rival can. So Joo Won’s mom should go find a woman who can drive a wedge between Joo Won and Ra Im.

Joo Won’s mom brings Seul to a family gathering, and announces their pending marriage. Joo Won tells everyone Seul likes Oska, but Seul lies and tells them is just a fan. Oska walks out and goes to the bathroom.

In the end scene, after a hard day of action school, the everyone’s lying on the floor resting. Ra Im is sleeping and Joo Won steals cover sheets from the others and put it on Ra Im. He lies down next to her and watches her sleep. He touches her forehead and she wakes. They stare at each other.

In their imaginations, Joo Won asks about her dream. Ra Im says, you are in it. He says, even in your dreams, are you unhappy with me? And Ra Im answers, Come anyway. Tomorrow, and the next day too.
