I sure hope we finally get some answers on the final episode. I feel like The Hong Sisters dragged on the pace of this drama too much. Normally their dramas are really zippy like You’re Beautiful or Best Love, that you hardly feel like you’re waiting for something significant / earth-shattering to happen.

But Big has really slowed down the last few episodes, and piled on the angst. Too much angst, too little fun times. :-(

So for episode 16 I hope everything gets resolved pretty quickly so we have a lot of time for some happy scenes or what they call “fan service”.

No more tears, OK, THS?!!

Da Ran: Where are we going right now?

Kyung Jae: You and I have to go sort through some matters first.

Nurse: What, what is happening! Oh no, oh no!

I haven’t been invested in a Korean drama since Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and that was years ago! Now I’m so addicted to Big! The actors are amazing. Lee Min Jung and Gong Yoo are simply perfect together, their faces are so expressive, that you just can’t help but believe everything you see onscreen.

The plot is taboo – an older woman and a much younger man – it’s so uncomfortable but that’s what propels this drama to crack levels. Add to that the complication of a soul switch between brothers – one born simply to serve as stem cell donor to his older brother, who is married to the woman they both love – gahhh it’s killing me!! This drama is just made of awesome!

Episode 12 gave us a sweet and heartfelt kiss – kyaa!! However this does not bode well. In fact it pretty much guarantees that the next few episodes will be about pain – because we are talking of an impossible love here! – so get ready with the tissues! For now, let’s all enjoy this AMAZING kiss!!! :)
