This new Korean drama is also known as 공주의 남자 / Gongjooeui Namja. It is a historical drama documenting the love story between the daughter of Prince Suyang and grandson of Kim Jong Seo.

It’s Okay Daddy’s Girl is also known as 괜찮아, 아빠 딸 / Gwaenchanha, Appa Ttal. It is an upcoming Korean drama which stars Moon Chae Won as Eun Chae Ryung and Kim Tae Ho as Choi Hyuk Gi. The love rival for Eun Chae Ryung will be played by SKK Student Body President Jeon Tae Soo.

The story is about Eun Chae Ryung who is a spoiled little daddy’s girl. However, he is accidentally killed and she is forced to rely on herself. This drama is about her coming of age days, when she encounters numerous difficulties and gradually matures into a young woman.

This Korean drama is still in the casting stage, so there are no episodes to show. But for sure, once there are, I’ll be putting up the links.

It’s Okay Daddy’s Girl will start airing from November 22, 2010 on Mondays and Tuesdays. It’s directed by Go Heung Shik (고흥식) and written by Han Joon Young.

Other supporting actors are Super Junior’s Donghae, CN Blue’s Kang Min-hyuk and Choi Ja Hye.

Shining Inheritance is a Korean drama filmed in 2009. It is also known as 찬란한 유산 or Brilliant Legacy.

It stars Han Hyo Joo as Ko Eun-seong, the rich girl turned pauper overnight; Lee Seung Ki as Seon Woo-hwan, the arrogant heir to the Beef Soup empire he loathes; Moon Chae-won as Yoo Seung-mi, Eun-seong’s step sister who wants to marry Hwan; and Bae Soo-bin as Park Joon-se, Hwan’s cousin who secretly loves Eun-seong.

This drama rated highly in Korea, even besting Boys Over Flowers, which interested me enough to watch it. Currently, I am still downloading the first few episodes, so I will be posting short summaries over the next few days. So far, though, I’m quite surprised it rated so highly. It’s quite the drama – death, family, money, pride and honor – all kinds of hardships – it is actually very like a Filipino telenovela, in my opinion. So I am not loving it all that much as I prefer to be entertained by laughing not by being burdened by other people’s problems, even if fictitious.

Still, I’ve started, so I will finish this drama. I hope Shining Inheritance will lighten up in the next few eps.
