A Japanese group of benefactors were dined and wined (for official reasons, of course!) by my mother (she’s the Senior Dean at my alma mater) a few nights ago. They gave her a gift before she left, and I just wanted to share them with you.

Those are Japanese sweets for you. Pretty huh? Makes you want to put them up for display instead of eating them up. Nonetheless, we ate some, as you can see.
After taking a bite though, you’ll realize maybe they really are meant to be displayed. Shhh.
